<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrule for stud welding capable of improving fatigue strength of a welding part by making a welding part to be in an optimum shape of reinforcement of weld in the ferrule for stud welding for jetting the generated high temperature gas from an upper end of a stud insertion hole. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of protrusions 6 for maintaining an interval between an inner peripheral surface 3a of an upper part of the stud insertion hole 3 and an outer peripheral surface of a stud S are formed on the inner peripheral surface 3a, and an inside diameter D2 of an inner peripheral surface 3c of a lower end of the stud insertion hole 3 is formed on a cylindrical surface 5 larger than an inside diameter D1 of an end of a truncated cone surface 4 of a lower inner peripheral surface 3b of the stud insertion hole 3 as a staying part 20 of molten metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
