<p>The invention relates to radio electronics, in particular to power factor correctors. The power factor corrector comprises at least one element having an electrical capacitance and at least one switching element. When the power factor corrector is coupled to an AC voltage source and to a load having a power greater than the power of said AC voltage source, said power factor corrector emits an AC voltage with a power greater than the power of said AC voltage source to the load over repeating time periods, wherein the parameters of said voltage source remain unchanged. The power factor corrector functions as an AC voltage stabilizer and protects the AC voltage supply sources from an impermissibly high electrical current and from a short circuit. The technical result consists in the possibility of supplying an alternating current with a power which exceeds the power of the power supply source to a load.</p> |
