<p>Disclosed is an electrical connector assembly (1), wherein the height in the intermeshing direction thereof can be made lower, and the insertion/pull-off durability thereof is high. The electrical connector assembly (1) is comprised of a pair of connectors (10, 40) that intermesh with each other. One of the connecters (10) is provided with first contacts (30). The first contacts (30) extend from anchored sections (31), and are provided with locking arms (34) for locking the other of the connecters (40) when the pair of connectors (10, 40) intermesh with each other. The locking arms (34) bend in a direction (Y-y direction) intersecting approximately at right angles with the direction (Z-z direction) in which the pair of connectors (10, 40) intermesh with each other. The direction (X-x direction) in which the locking arms (34) extend from anchored sections (31) intersects approximately at right angles with the direction (Z-z direction) in which the pair of connectors (10, 40) intermesh with each other.</p> |
