<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a notification mail distribution setting method enabling the setting of a transmission mode of notification mail to be received by users with a flexible and minimum required procedure during carrying out a print workflow. <P>SOLUTION: The notification mail distribution setting method comprises: a process X in which an authority is allotted to an authority set which includes an authority to a function of receiving a manuscript used for carrying out a job and notification mail setting; and a process in which the allotted authority automatically reflects a default delivery setting owned on a remote server to a notification mail delivery setting form on the remote server as an authority set default delivery setting 401.
