<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof structure equipped with solar cells which is capable of preventing an electrical failure from occurring in the component material of the solar cell due to the water droplets of dew condensation water and dirt which are accumulated in the valley of a corrugated slate plate. <P>SOLUTION: A solar cell panel 21 is disposed via a roof material 12 above a corrugated slate plate 11 alternately formed with ridges 11A and valleys 11B. A support member 13 for supporting the roof material 12 is mounted on the corrugated slate plate 11. The support member 13 includes a top 13A on which the roof material 12 is mounted, and a pair of side walls 13B extending downward from the top 13A to be disposed so as to sandwich the ridges 11A of the corrugated slate plate 11. The distance between contacts with the corrugated slate plate 11 on a pair of the side walls 13B is shorter than the distance between adjacent valleys 11A.
