<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dewatering device for wet paper and a waste paper recycling apparatus which do not need a large-scale device for dewatering wet paper and realizing a small-sized device. <P>SOLUTION: A dewatering device P for wet paper comprises: a pair of endless dewatering belts 10 for nipping and conveying wet paper 64 in a wet state; and a pair of press rollers 16, 17 which are installed respectively on the inward side of the pair of dewatering belts 10 and nip press the wet paper 64 nipped by the pair of dewatering belt 10 through the dewatering belt 10. At least one of the dewatering belts 10 is formed from a material having permeability, and, on the outer peripheral surface of the press roller 17 installed on the inward side of the dewatering belt 10 which is formed from the material having permeability, water absorption part 37 is installed to absorb water produced by nip pressing the wet paper 64, and nip-pressure variable means 27 is provided to release or increase/decrease a pressure to nip a wet paper of the pair of press rollers 16, 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
