<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing polymer particles having excellent general versatility in a chemically reacting system in which a chemical reaction field is limited to oil droplet, wherein reaction can be facilitated by microwave irradiation. <P>SOLUTION: The oil droplet has an oil-soluble olefin monomer, an oil-soluble initiator and an amphiphilic polymer that is not soluble or is hardly soluble in water, while the oil-soluble olefin monomer, the oil-soluble initiator and the amphiphilic polymer is mixed with one another, wherein the amphiphilic polymer exists on a surface. The method for producing the polymer particles through suspension polymerization method includes: a step of obtaining a suspension having the oil droplet; and a step of polymerizing the oil-soluble olefin monomer in the oil droplet by emitting microwave to the suspension at 1.0-10.0 kW per 1 litter of the suspension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
