<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical wavelength multiplexer capable of determining with high accuracy whether or not each signal included in non-multiplexed and multiplexed signals is identical even when the multiplexed optical signal includes noise. <P>SOLUTION: A comparison determination section 41 of an optical multiplexer 1 compares non-multiplexed channel identification information indicating a channel (wavelength) of an optical signal which is not multiplexed with multiplexed channel identification information indicating a channel (wavelength) of a signal included in a multiplexed optical signal in order to determine whether or not there is an abnormality. Because the comparison determination section 41 determines whether or not there is an abnormality using a wavelength, it is possible to distinguish a signal from noise and determine with high accuracy whether or not each signal included in non-multiplexed and multiplexed optical signals is identical even when multiplexed optical signal includes noise. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
