<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration method for an interior material, capable of removing or decomposing quickly and effectively a contamination containing tar of tobacco or the like impregnated into the interior material of a building. <P>SOLUTION: A surface of the interior material laid stretchedly in the building and accompanied by the contamination containing the tar of tobacco, for example, a wallpaper cloth (polyvinyl chloride cloth), is irradiated with an ultraviolet ray, for example, the ultraviolet ray within a range of 300-450 nm of wavelength, to decompose the tar of tobacco, in this regeneration method for the interior material. The ultraviolet ray is emitted to the surface of the interior material, under the constitution where aqueous hydrogen peroxide is contained in the interior material. A hydrogen peroxide concentration of the aqueous hydrogen peroxide is preferably 5-10 wt.%, and the aqueous hydrogen peroxide contains preferably a surfactant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
