<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To foresee that, although an LED lighting fixture as a promising method of decreasing a volume of carbon dioxide in a global warming issue is hindered from spreading due to its high price as compared with a ready-made one, LED chips and other components can be reduced in cost through devices, and, if its cost gets equivalent to or lower than that of a fluorescent lamp containing harmful mercury, the LED lighting fixture will prevail all of a sudden to make curtailment of greenhouse gas only a matter of reality. <P>SOLUTION: The LED lighting fixture has a COD (Chip On Driver) integrating at an IC level a heat-sink material of high conductivity, an LED, and a driver in an arbitrary-shape photo guide tube of a high-power LED package with several watts per piece integrated with a special-interface optical matching adapter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
