<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information distribution device and information distribution method capable of providing a proper service in accordance with each user and his/her traveling companions by using user history information of a traffic IC card to discriminate the traveling companions traveling together with the user. <P>SOLUTION: A traveling companion determining and matching server 1060 for determining traveling companions in each user and distributing proper information in accordance with the determination result acquires use history data of a ticket card 1020 with an ID attached thereto from a ticket system 1010. The traveling companion determining and matching server extracts a traveling companion candidate for each user from a ticket gate passing time and a ticket gate position, further calculates information of a traveling companion by using which section in a series of traveling within a fixed time the traveling companion is together with the user and a frequency when the traveling companion is together with the user within the fixed time, generates proper distribution data in accordance with the traveling companion information, and distributes the proper distribution data to an information terminal 1070 carried by each user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
