<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black smoke removing device which has simple structure and reliably collects black smoke, and in which filters are heated and regenerated for continuous operation of removing black smoke. <P>SOLUTION: The black smoke removing device is disposed in a midway of an exhaust gas passage to discharge an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine to air, and includes: a black smoke filtering unit including a sealed container having an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet, a drum which has two faces perpendicular to the center axis, almost all of the outer faces of the two faces being sealed with an array of a plurality of planar filters having air holes penetrating from the front to the back of each filter and which rotates around the center axis, and an exhaust shaft which coaxially and cylindrically encloses a periphery of the center axis, has a plurality of apertures to guide air passing through the filters and introduced into the drum, and guides the air to the outside of the sealed container, the exhaust shaft being rotatably attached to the exhaust gas outlet of the sealed container; a rotating device rotating the exhaust shaft; and a regenerating device which opposes one of the filters and burns the black smoke collected by the filter to reduce the weight by ashing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
