<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device of an internal combustion engine that efficiently purifies PM. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device of the internal combustion engine includes: an electrode 30 which is installed on an exhaust system of the internal combustion engine and carries out corona discharge; a voltage control means 40 for controlling an applied voltage which is applied in order that the electrode 30 generates corona discharge; and a cycle number detecting means 48 for detecting operation time from a start of the internal combustion engine. The voltage control means 40 makes the applied voltage higher than an applied voltage at the start of the internal combustion engine when a cycle number detected by the cycle number detecting means 48 becomes C1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
