<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing a snubber voltage and a surge voltage that accompanies switching operation of a step-up converter of a soft switching method. <P>SOLUTION: An IPM42 mounted on a converter 40 includes a plurality of semiconductor modules 420, a cooling part 430 of both-side stacked cooling structure, and a conductive part 460.
