<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which prevents occurrence of deterioration in a read image when stopping the motor of an ADF during reading the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image reading device 50 comprising an ADF 300 driven by a motor 310 is equipped with: an image reading unit which transfers electric charges accumulated in a photoelectric conversion element to a shift register 220 by a shift pulse; and a shift pulse control unit which controls an output timing of the shift pulse on the basis of the rotation of the motor 310. When the rotation of the motor 310 is stopped, the shift pulse control unit outputs a shift pulse for transferring the accumulated electric charges by the final lighting of a light source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
