<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loose tightening device of knit capable of suppressing a tension variation of a knit with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A loose tightening device of knit 30 illustrated in the figure (a) comprises an upper spring 11 and a cut sensing mechanism 19 and further comprises a loose tightening spring 31. A knit 17, which is drawn from the gap between a guide portion 11b of the upper spring 11 and a guide member 13, is inserted into a guide portion 31b of the loose tightening spring 31. If the knit 17 is loosened, the guide portion 11b gets elevated and the guide portion 31b descends so that the length of a supply channel of the knit 17 is increased. The addition of the loose tightening spring 31 allows the device to decrease a displacement magnitude of a rod 11a swinging in a clockwise direction when compared to the single use of the upper spring 11, and suppress the decrease of energization force of a support portion 11c and suppress the decrease of the tension of the knit 17.
