METHOD FOR EXAMINING ZDBF2 METHYLATION FAILURE AS INDEX OF IMPRINT FAILURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for examining a gene failure as an index of imprint failure.

SOLUTION: The method for examining the index of the imprint failure includes: detecting a methylation state in an allele-specific methylation region in a ZDBF2 gene regarding a sample of a genomic DNA extraction deprived from a sample of a human living body; and obtaining a methylation ratio in the sample of the genomic DNA extraction as an examination value of the imprint failure index.
