Disclosed is a transmission comprising a first (2) and a second (4) input shaft and at least one output shaft (6, 10) that drive the drive wheels of the vehicle. Each input shaft (2, 4) can be connected to the output shafts (6, 10) using step-down gears, each of which comprises a driving pinion that is supported on an input shaft and meshes with a driven pinion. A second step-down gear (II) implements the second speed (II) using the second input shaft (4) by driving the first output shaft (6). The disclosed transmission further comprises a transfer link (T) that can interconnect the two input shafts (2, 4) via a transfer shaft (44) which extends parallel to the input shafts, the transfer link (T) interconnecting the input shafts (2, 4) by reducing the speed of the second input shaft (4) in relation to the speed of the first input shaft (2). Said transmission is characterized in that a pinion (16) of a reverse gear (R) which is disposed on the second output shaft (10) or on the transfer shaft (44) directly meshes with the driven pinion (16) of the second step-down gear (II) to implement the reverse speed.
