<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for suppressing deterioration of quality of a printed image formed by printing using pigment ink and dye ink. <P>SOLUTION: This printer 100 performs band printing using pigment ink and dye ink of black in bidirectional printing. In the printer 100, a pigment ink dot is formed earlier and a dye ink dot is formed later in a going passage region where a print head 60 moves in a going direction. The dye ink dot is formed earlier and the pigment ink dot is formed later in a return passage region where the print head 60 moves in a return direction. A density correction performing section 25 changes the delivery amount of the pigment ink dot and corrects the printing density using a prepared correspondence between the density per unit area of a solid image of uniform density and the voltage value of driving voltage applied to a nozzle to constitute the solid image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
