<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fraudulent access by limiting access corresponding to the vulnerability of a password when authenticating an user by an user ID and the password. <P>SOLUTION: The user authentication device for performing user authentication to the user who is to access predetermined information includes: an authentication DB 114 storing user information including the user ID and the password of the user; an input reception part 111 for receiving the user ID and the password inputted by the user; an authentication processing part 112 for performing the user authentication by collating the user ID and the password received by the input reception part with the user information inside the authentication DB; a vulnerability evaluation part 113 for evaluating the vulnerability of the password received by the input reception part when the user authentication by the authentication processing part is a success; and the authentication processing part for imparting an access right corresponding to the result of evaluating the vulnerability of the password by the vulnerability evaluation part to the user ID. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
