<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core metal for a crawler, capable of being coupled by simple operation without increasing exclusive coupling components, and inhibiting abrasion of its coupling portion. <P>SOLUTION: The core metals 20 connected next to each other for constituting an endless crawler belt 13 includes: a core metal body 22 having a pair of guide wall parts 26, and the first and second through-holes 36, 34 provided therein and extending in its width direction W; and a connecting member 28 which is inserted through the first through-hole 36 and the adjacent second through-hole 34 of the core metal body 22 for connecting the core metals 20 with each other. The connecting member 28 includes: a pin part 32 disposed across a pair of the guide wall parts 26; and a pair of wing parts 30 extending outward in its width direction from both the ends of the pin part 32. In the inner wall of the first through-hole 36, a groove part 36A is formed for receiving one portion of the wing part 30. In a state where the one portion of the wing part 30 is received in the groove part 36A, the movement of the pin part 32 in its width direction is regulated by the guide wall parts 26 abutting thereon so that the core metals 20 can be coupled by the simple operation without increasing the exclusive components, and the abrasion of its coupling portion can be inhibited. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
