<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head for stably injecting sealing material even if a distance between an end face of a wiring board and a side face of a recording element substrate is reduced when the width of the wiring board is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head includes a recording element substrate, a wring board including a wiring electrically connected to an energy generating element, a support substrate for supporting the recording element substrate and the wiring board, a sheet member provided on the wiring board so that a side end of the recording element substrate and a side end of the sheet member provided on the wiring board may be adjacent to each other, and sealing material provided so as to fill a gap between the side end of the recording element substrate and the side end of the wiring board and the side end of the sheet member with the sealing material.
