<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for forming a biological specimen, allowing an inexperienced person to easily cut out a region to be observed. <P>SOLUTION: A device comprises an observation mechanism 13 that enables observation of a biological specimen 12 made by the steps of slicing a tissue, immersing it in a fixing fluid, and embedding it in a resin plate, with an optical microscope 21 for defining a selected area, and cutting out mechanism 15 that enables forming of the biological specimen by depressing a knife 36 for cutting out the selected area from the biological specimen 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
