<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the airtightness and durability of an exhaust-gas turbocharger so that components do not go wrong in an early stage due to thermal loads. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust-gas turbocharger includes an outer housing (2) in which a collar (17) formed on an inner housing (3) is abutted on, at least partially, an edge (16) located on the inner side of a bearing flange (14) in the direction of a turbine wheel rotation axis (13), the inner housing (3), and a turbine wheel (11).
