<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system for preventing a lubricating/cooling fluid charged within a rotary electric machine from being overheated in a case that an abnormality occurs in the rotary electric machine, and a coil end is overheated. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle control system 100 comprises: a rotary electric machine unit 40; a PCU 14 including an inverter circuit; and a controller 18. The rotary electric machine unit 40 includes: a housing storing the rotary electric machine and the lubricating/cooling fluid; an oil accommodating chamber 60 connected to the housing, and accommodating the lubricating/cooling fluid; and an open-close valve 58 provided in a connection for connecting the housing and the oil accommodating chamber 60, and normally closed. The controller 18 outputs a valve opening signal to the open-close valve 58 when there is a short-circuit failure in one phase of the inverter circuit for driving the rotary electric machine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
