<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock device for a power supply plug, that can prevent a drive source from operating in a state of being subjected to a larger load than a load during a normal lock operation. <P>SOLUTION: The lock device for a power supply plug includes a lock bar. When a power supply plug 15 is connected to an inlet unit 5 that is provided to a vehicle, the connection state is maintained by the engagement of an engaging claw 16 with an engaging unit 17. On the other hand, the connection of the power supply plug 15 and the inlet unit 5 can be released in such a manner that the engaging claw 16 is shifted in conjunction with an operation of an operation unit 17 in such a direction that the engagement with the engaging unit 21 is released. The lock bar is displaced between a lock position and an unlock position by driving force of a motor.
