<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt device allowing the shoulder where a belt is pulled out to be switched from one side to the other side. <P>SOLUTION: The belt 14 from a retractor 16 is hung obliquely from one side shoulder of an occupant 2 who sits at a seat 4 of a vehicle 1 to the opposite side waist, a through-tung 22 is attached detachably to a buckle 34 arranged on the stationary side and the belt 14 is stretched across the waist of the occupant. A hook 40 for changing the pulling of the belt 14 from one side shoulder to the opposite side waist into the pulling from the other side shoulder to the opposite side waist is disposed on the seat 4 of the other side shoulder side. Further, a switching mechanism 26 is disposed such that the tip of the belt 14 from the retractor 16 and the buckle 34 are attached to rotating members 28, 30, and such that the rotating members 28, 30 are rotatably attached to the lower side of the seat 4 and the stretching of the belt 14 over the waist part can be switched right and left across the seat 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
