<p>The present invention relates to a device for heating the ambient by means of infrared rays. The device comprises a cylindrical hollow casing (2) with an entry (3) for the passage of air for mixing with the gases resulting from the combustion of gas fuels coming from the burner (6), an outlet (4) for the combusted gases, and refractory means (5) placed between said entrance and said outlet. The refractory means (5) are composed of mineral fibres capable of converting the heat coming from the combustion of a burner (6), located inside the casing (2), into an infrared radiation which is emitted towards the outside from the external surface (4) of the hollow cylindrical casing (2).</p> |
