The device has a motor (7) provided with an eccentric supported rotor (8) and a rotation speed control, where the device is designed into a form of modules. The rotor is magnetized for producing magneto mechanical vibration for stimulation of vital function such as breathing function. A rotary magneto mechanical vibration unit is combined with an inductive transformation element such that reduced electrical stimulation current is realized as additional local stimulation aid. A monitoring device monitors the breathing function via an interface that is designed as a universal serial port.
