The module has optical and/or distance-measuring sensors e.g. laser and/or radar detectors, arranged in a housing i.e. stereo camera housing (1). An attaching unit at the housing attaches the module to or in a motor car. Feed-throughs of the housing are provided for a power supply of the module. Vehicle-to-vehicle/vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2X) communication components for vehicle safety communications comprise a wireless communication based on integration of data packets. An alignment of general communication components and the V2X communication components lead to an information process. An independent claim is also included for a method for performing communications in a motor car.
