<p>Instrumentation for orthodontic operations with a system for monitoring the torque that employs a tightening tie (8) which comprises: a- forceps (14) for grasping and tightening an intertwined terminal wire pair of a tie (2), b- a motor, with the relative power supply for actuating a rotation motion of the forceps (14) in order to have an adjustable fixing/tightening that is more or less tight - strong, medium or loose on the corresponding bracket until a predetermined torque is obtained on the single tooth, c- a display (13) that allows detecting the monitoring values in real time, d- a keypad for setting the regulation on which the tightening procedure operates. A processor that is outside or inside the tightening tie allows different types of control on the basis of the on-line detection of the applied torque.</p> |
