<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump system dispensing with an auxiliary booster pump and capable of quickly starting as a sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump. <P>SOLUTION: The sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump system includes: the sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump 3; a pressure tank 10; pressure detecting means 8, 28 detecting pressure in a water pipe 7; and a control device 16 performing operation control of the sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump. The sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump has pump performance that can secure a water pipe boost operation region for pressurizing to a set value or higher when pressure in the water pipe 7 drops, and a sprinkler operation region operable as the sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump. The pressure detecting means is capable of detecting a boost operation starting pressure PS2 and a sprinkler operation starting pressure PS1, and the control device operates the sprinkler fire-extinguishing pump in the water pipe boost operation region or the sprinkler operation region based on signals from the pressure detecting means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
