<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overturning of an image forming apparatus due to an opening/closing operation of a shutter. <P>SOLUTION: A drawer unit 3 (drawer frame 21) is provided to be movable between a stored position in which the drawer unit is stored inside a body casing 2, and a pulled-out position in which it is pulled out from the apparatus body. A plurality of toner boxes 11 are retained in the drawer frame 21. The toner boxes 11 are provided with shutters 73. Further, the drawer frame 21 is provided with first action sections 33 and second action sections 34. An abutting member 117 is provided in the body casing 2. When the drawer unit 3 is moved from the pulled-out position to the stored position, the first action section 33 are moved while it is abutted to the abutting member 3, and the shutter 73 is moved from a closed position to an opened position. When the drawer unit 3 is moved from the stored position to the pulled-out position, the second action section 34 is moved while it is abutted to the abutting member 117, and the shutter 73 is moved from the opened position to the closed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
