<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fullerene derivative having superior electrical characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The fullerene derivative has a structure represented by formula (1) [In formula, a ring A represents a ≥60C fullerene ring; a ring B<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and a ring B<SP POS="POST">2</SP>independently represent 3-6C heterocycles; R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>independently represent monovalent functional groups; Q represents a divalent organic group bonded to carbon atoms of the ring B<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and the ring B<SP POS="POST">2</SP>; j and k represent integers of 0-8.
