<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device which has improved power generation efficiency by reducing input torque to a magnet type AC generator and reducing a driving load of a rotation force supply unit. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply device comprises: a magnet type generator 1 which has a rotator having a magnet provided therein; a rotation force supply unit RS which supplies rotation force to the rotator; a rectifying circuit 3 which rectifies an output of the magnet type generator and supplies power to a load electric unit; short circuits SW4 to SW6 which electrically short-circuit the output end of the magnet type generator; a voltage detection circuit VD which detects a terminal voltage of the load electric unit; and a controlling circuit 4 which operates the short circuit by switching a short circuit operation mode and a rectification operation mode in accordance with an operation state on rotation of the rotator of the magnet type generator, while controlling the voltage of the load electric unit to a first set value by controlling on and off of the short circuit to on (short circuit operation mode) and the short circuit to off (rectification operation mode) in accordance with a voltage which has been detected by the voltage detection circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
