<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the control device of an internal combustion engine capable of improving detection accuracy of the volume of fresh air by an airflow sensor when the supercharged fresh air is circulated to the upstream side of a compressor of an intake passage. <P>SOLUTION: In the control device 1, an EGR passage 11a is connected to a part between the airflow sensor 21 of an intake passage 4 and a compressor 10a, and an exhaust passage 5, and a first EGR control valve 11b is provided between the airflow sensor 21 of the intake passage 4 and the connection part of the EGR passage 11a. An air bypass passage 12 is connected to the intake passage 4 on the downstream side of the compressor and between the compressor of the intake passage 4 and the first EGR control valve 11b. An air bypass valve 13 which is opened when the operating state is shifted from the super-charged operational state to the decelerated operational state is provided to the air bypass passage 12.
