<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide weaponry including an electronic control device. <P>SOLUTION: A deployment unit for a provided electronic weapon includes a mechanism or circuit that describes the deployment unit to the electronic weapon and a mechanism or circuit that propels a first electrode of the deployment unit in response to the electronic weapon. The first electrode conducts a current through a human or animal target to impede locomotion by the target.
