<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonograph capable of magnifying an ultrasonic image and displaying it while suppressing blur. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonograph includes a photographing unit, a display controller and a controller. The photographing unit transmits an ultrasonic wave to a subject and receives the ultrasonic wave reflected on the subject, thereby generating a first ultrasonic image showing the subject. The display controller causes a first display region of the display unit to display the first ultrasonic image. Upon receiving an instruction of magnifying the ultrasonic image, the controller changes the conditions of the transmission of the ultrasonic wave or the conditions of reception thereof, and causes the photographing unit to generate a magnified second ultrasonic image.
