<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a klystron in which an output waveguide can be soldered airtight to a high frequency interaction part, and an inflow of solder material to the vacuum side of the output waveguide can be prevented. <P>SOLUTION: A klystron comprises an electron gun, a collector, a high frequency interaction part having an input cavity, an intermediate cavity, an output cavity with a hole formed therein, and a drift tube, a focus coil, and an output waveguide. The high frequency interaction part has a recess 60. The output waveguide has a protrusion 70 to be fitted to the recess 60, and forms a groove 80 between the high frequency interaction part and the protrusion 70. The output waveguide is bonded to the high frequency interaction part by a solder material 90 provided in the groove 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
