<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction machinery capable of preventing dust from accumulating on a muffler and the periphery of the muffler. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic excavator 1 includes: a vehicle body cover 11 for covering an engine 17; a muffler 8 mounted below the vehicle body cover 11 through a bracket 12 for reducing an exhaust sound of the engine 17; and a partition cover 13 for partitioning between the muffler 8 and a hydraulic pump 16. In the hydraulic excavator 1, the vehicle cover 11 has a first opening 11a located above the muffler 8 of the vehicle cover 11, which can clean the muffler 8 and the periphery of the muffler 8, the bracket 12 has a second opening 12a located below the muffler 8 for cleaning, and the partition cover 13 has a third opening 13a for cleaning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
