The shelf has a frame comprising vertical supports (1) and horizontal shelves, and rollers (4) attached to ground level cross beams (3). A trough is fixed to a circular hollow section e.g. box profile, of each cross beam and comprised of a bracket (6) with a supporting surface for supporting the vertical supports. The supporting surface is fixed below an upper edge of each cross beam, where the cross beams are formed from a half shell. The cross beams are connected with each other by two crossbars.
