Process for the formation of sheets of mosaic tesserae (F) wherein the joining step of each group of mosaic tesserae arranged chequered provides for the application - from the top - of the adhesive agent on an anti-adhesive substrate (6; 10) and the positioning of the group of tesserae on the adhesive agent applied to the anti-adhesive substrate (6; 10) maintaining the front faces of the tesserae facing upwards, so as to adhere the adhesive agent to the back faces of the tesserae. The adhesive agent is injected - from the top - on the anti-adhesive substrate (6; 10) according to linear bridges (15) for the connection of the sides of the adjacent mosaic tesserae (F).
