PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a silicone-coated roller without a build line is provided to prevent the formation of a building line by minimizing an edge line of a strip due to the orientation of pigment/filler-containing particles. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a silicone-coated roller without a build line is as follows. The extruded, pigment/filler-containing addition-curable silicone rubber strip(2) wrapped around a base material(1) in a state where the edges of adjacent strips are welded. The hardened silicon rubber hardens in order to a vulcanized silicon rubber layer unified in the material. The surface of exposed silicon of a polymer faced roller is machine-processed. Pigment and filler have a size and shape that makes cured silicone elastic member not form the build line.
