<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a vehicle which can sufficiently elongate a life of a timing belt when the timing belt approaches an end of the life and can improve drivability. <P>SOLUTION: A load applied to the timing belt is integrated to calculate an load-integrated value Fn showing a deterioration degree of the timing belt (step S11). Under the condition that the calculated load-integrated value Fn is a first warning determination value Cba or more (determined as YES in step S12), a drive state of the vehicle is changed according to the load-integrated value Fn (step S14, step S16, step S17). Thereby, the appropriate life elongation is applied to the timing belt according to the deterioration degree of the timing belt, thus resulting in the sufficient life elongation of the timing belt and the improvement of the drivability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
