<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of storing image data in an external storage device detachably attached thereto in which image data having a data format for the image forming apparatus is made available to other apparatuses without deteriorating security for the image data stored in the external storage device. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging system comprises an image forming apparatus and a terminal device, the image forming apparatus being configured to store image data in an attached external storage device in a data format used for handling the image data in the image forming apparatus, store restriction information for restricting use of the image data in an application executed in the terminal device, and further transfer the application to the terminal device, and the terminal device being configured to determine whether or not the image data can be used based on the restriction information when a control unit executes the application to use the image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
