<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting motor capable of efficiently and quickly cooling a coil consisting of a superconducting wire rod. <P>SOLUTION: A superconducting motor comprises: a rotor supported rotatably; a stator provided to cover the rotor and in which a plurality of coils composed of a superconducting wire rod 74 are wound around an inner peripheral part of a stator core; and a refrigerators 16 including cooling parts to cool the coils. The superconducting wire rod 74 has a superconductive layer 80 and a coating layer 82 which is jointed with at least one side of the superconductive layer 80 so as to cover the side, the superconductive layer 80 and the coating layer 82 extending in the longitudinal direction. The coating layer 82 is made of a material better in thermal conductivity than that of the superconductive layer 80, and is formed to have an uneven shape joint surface so that its contact area with the superconductive layer 80 is larger than that of a plane contact of one side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
