<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for a significant impact by a rapid fluctuation in force due to an external vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A method for operating an adjusting drive in a motor vehicle comprises a step of measuring actuating force exerted by the adjusting drive, a step of comparing the actuating force with a threshold value, and a step of reversing the adjusting drive when the threshold value is exceeded. According to a first method, the measured values of the actuating force are filtered before they are compared in order to suppress any rapid fluctuation in the actuating force in relation to the distance already covered by the adjusting drive, while the vehicle moves. When the vehicle is stationary with an internal-combustion engine switched off, the rapid fluctuation is suppressed to a lesser extent than in the first method according to a second method, or no filtering is performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
