<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a mobile terminal to be accurately and surely located in AR technology. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal locating system, landmark information of a landmark existing within a prescribed distance from an approximate position of the mobile terminal is searched on the basis of approximate position information of the mobile terminal, and found landmark information is transmitted to the mobile terminal, so that the mobile terminal can acquire landmark information about the landmark existing in the periphery of the mobile terminal. Since landmark information preliminarily stored in a server is transmitted to the mobile terminal, it is possible to surely locate the mobile terminal based o a landmark image. A photographing position of the landmark image is analyzed on the basis of this image, and the photographing position is managed as the location of the mobile terminal by the mobile terminal and is used for location correction, whereby the mobile terminal can be accurately located. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
