FILTER, CONNECTION DUCT, OUTDOOR HOOD, AND VENTILATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a filter that is improved in a rain water infiltration suppression effect without increasing a pressure loss, and to provide a connection duct, outdoor hood and ventilation apparatus.

SOLUTION: The filter 1 is installed in the middle of a filter housing 2 for introducing an outdoor air into a room. The filter has a high pressure loss section 1a and a low pressure loss section 1b in which a pressure loss of a passing airflow is smaller than that of the high pressure loss section 1a. The filter is installed in the filter housing 2 such that the high pressure loss section 1a is positioned at an upper part of an airflow channel in the filter housing 2 and the low pressure loss section 1b is positioned at a lower part of the airflow channel in the filter housing 2.
