<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of electrically connecting a printed board to a flat cable without a soldered connection. <P>SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of first connecting terminals provided at a first housing includes a pressure contact portion that sandwiches a predetermined conductor through an insulating coating of a flat cable to bring the conductor into pressure contact. When each of the first connecting terminals passes through a hole provided in a cover so that an arrangement position is adjusted, and is accommodated in a recessed part provided in a second housing, a tip of each of the first connecting terminals is deformed to be brought into contact with a conductive portion of a printed board, thereby electrically connected to the conductive portion. The printed board is provided with a wiring pattern having one end connected to a PCI card edge connector corresponding to each signal line and the other end connected to a through hole brought into pressure contact with each of the first connecting terminals. Accordingly, the PCI card edge connector connected to each through hole is electrically connected to a conductive portion of the flat cable through each of the first connecting terminals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
